Basic Egg Bite Recipe

These easy and healthy egg muffin cups are perfect for meal prep, grab-and-go breakfasts, or high-protein snacks. Use this base recipe and customize with your favorite veggies, meats, and cheeses!

Ingredients
  

  • 10-12 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk optional for fluffiness
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1-2 cups mix-ins veggies, cheese, meats
  • Optional spices: garlic powder paprika, Italian herbs

  • 1 muffin tin

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a muffin tin well or use silicone liners.
  3. Whisk eggs with milk, salt, pepper, and spices.
  4. Divide your mix-ins evenly among the muffin cups.
  5. Pour egg mixture over the fillings, leaving a bit of space at the top.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until eggs are set and lightly golden.
  7. Cool slightly before removing. Store in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for 2 months.
