Are you ready to declutter your home but don’t know where to start? This 30-day decluttering challenge breaks down the process into manageable daily tasks, making it easy to achieve a clutter-free and organized home. Below the decluttering tasks, is a bonus cleaning task. Completing these tasks will help make your home feel more tidy and clean. I have also included a FREE Decluttering Check List below. Follow along each day, and by the end of the month, you’ll enjoy a refreshed and more serene living space.

Day 1: Clear Off Surfaces
Tackle all flat surfaces in your home, such as countertops, tables, and desks. Remove unnecessary items and find proper storage for things you want to keep.
Cleaning Bonus: Use a All Purpose cleaner and soft rag and clean off flat surfaces once cleared off.
Day 2: Tidy the Entryway
Declutter your entryway by organizing shoes, coats, bags, and other items. Use hooks, shelves, and bins to keep everything in order.
Cleaning Bonus: Sweep and mop the entryway. Wipe baseboards, and clean window on the doors.
Day 3: Kitchen Countertops
Clear off kitchen countertops and only keep daily essentials out. Store appliances and items you rarely use.

Day 4: Refrigerator and Freezer
Clean out your refrigerator and freezer. Dispose of expired food, organize what’s left.

Day 5: Pantry
Sort through your pantry, checking expiration dates and donating any non-perishable items you won’t use. Organize the remaining items by category.

Day 6: Kitchen Cupboards
Go through your kitchen cabinets and drawers. Donate or discard unused or duplicate items, and organize what’s left.

Day 7: Junk Drawer
Empty out your junk drawer, sort through the contents, and only keep what is necessary. Use dividers to organize small items.

Declutter coffee tables, end tables, and entertainment centers. Find storage solutions for remotes, magazines, and other items.

Day 13: Under the Bed
Remove items stored under the bed and find proper storage for them. Only keep essentials stored here.

Dispose of expired medications and products. Organize what’s left for easy access.

Day 16: Bathroom Cabinets and Drawers
Sort through bathroom cabinets and drawers, discarding old or unused items. Organize the remaining toiletries and products.
